ITINERARY

Meet at an agreed place/Hotel, have short briefing about the safari and later transfer to Murchison falls national park driving through the farmlands and marshlands of the central region of Uganda with lunch en route at Kabalega Dinners or Masindi town. After lunch, Proceed to the park with an evening game drive in search of treasures of the park. Dinner and over Night at lodge.

Today, breakfast will be served early in order to create more time and chances for the massive game viewing activity of the day. We will take on the medley of wonders “Queen Elizabeth National Park” which is gifted with 95 mammal species and 600 bird species. Watch out for Elephants, Uganda Kobs, Buffaloes, baboons, Leopards. Hyenas, lions, Warthogs, mongoose and any other wildlife that inhabit the lash plains of Kasenyi as your guide will identify most the of the wildlife. Later return to lodge to prepare for the afternoon boat launch on the famous Kazinga Channel that joins lake Edward and Lake Gorge.
After our hot lunch at the camp, we will drive to the Mweya peninsula for our afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. The Kazinga Channel is an oasis for many of the fascinating species that inhabit the park, and taking a boat tour along it gives visitors the chance to cruise just meters from hundreds of enormous hippos and buffalos while elephants linger on the shoreline. A number of bird species can be sighted while on this two-hour boat cruise as your boat captain shares more information about the park and its wildlife.

After breakfast, we will check out from our lodge and proceed to do one more game drive before we exit the park through the Paraa landing on the Nile. You will discuss with your guide where you will opt to have lunch either in home or any favorable place depending on the time. Later drive out of the park to proceed to Fort Portal with an evening crate lake drive to watch the sun go down. Dinner and overnight in the park.

Chimpanzee tracking is among the top five activities that one must do while taking on a safari in Uganda. Today will we will have a short drive to the Kanyanchu briefing Centre where we will join other for a short briefing about the activity. Kibale National Forest has one of the highest diversity and concentration of primates in Africa and has large number of endangered chimpanzees, as well as the red colobus monkey and the rare L'Hoest's monkey. After the chimpanzees have been located, we will have one full hour learning and observing them as tey go on with their daily lives. This one hour is really fascinating and memorable since these are ages are our close relatives with 98% DNA. In the afternoon, we will Bigodi Community for our swamp/wetland walk which is a haven for mammals such as sitatungas, bushbucks, otters with over 200 bird species. Local and knowledgeable guides will take you on an interpretive tour as they escort you through the lush vegetation. This is the perfect opportunity to view the wildlife from the forest pathways, boardwalks and atop a tree house tucked high in the canopy. Dinner and overnight at Lodge

After a leisurely breakfast, we drive from kibale to Entebbe through the green tea plantation and farmlands of the western region with lunch en route or Kampala time permitting.
