After your breakfast and briefing with the guide or safari representative, you will drive to towards Jinja through Kampala, Wakiso and Mukono districts and proceed jinja where you will take a source of the Nile boat cruise to see the source of the mighty Nile longest river in the world. Have lunch in Jinja and proceed to Sipi falls. Time allowing, we will have an evening sundowner in Sipi falls. Dinner and overnight in Sipi.

After breakfast, you will hike two of the famous falls in this mountainous region that draw their waters from the ranges of mount Elgon. Sipi falls are famous for the scenic views of region, great Robusta coffee that’s grown on the slopes of Elgon and the rich Sebbei culture in this region as well. After an early lunch we will driver to our next destination, Pian upe wildlife reserve Uganda’s second largest protected area. Dinner and overnight in the reserve

After your breakfast we will embark on game drive in search of wildlife in this un explored game reserve. This reserve is gifted with scenic beauty and eye-catching landscapes. Roan antelopes, Elands, Ostriches, Chetah with about 80% during the dry season, buffaloes, Zebras, waterbucks and with a range of semi-arid bird species can be sighted here including Uganda’s one and only true endemic specie of the Foxes weaver. Before we close the day, we will organize an evening sundowner at the caves and later return to the banders for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you drive to the community at the edge of the reserve to visit the local homestead of the Karamojong’s who are the local people in this region and a famous for the life style they live that revolve around their cattle. After the cultural encounter you will proceed to the Africa’s true wildness Kidepo national park. The stretch from Moroto to Kidepo via Matheniko wildlife Reserve is a true birders paradise with special Semi-arid dry residents that can be found in this region.

After breakfast, we depart from the lodge in search of big game, in the wildlands of the unmatched Africa’s true wildness that’s gifted with over 70 mammal species and over 400 bird species that call these wildlands home not forgetting the rich Karamajong culture and when combined offers a remarkable safari of life time. Kidepo ranks among Africa’s finest wildernesses with abundant wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, common elands, Cheetah, hyenas, Leopards, Lions, Elephants, Jackson’s hartebeest and the huge buffalo herds that are said to be 1000s. After a day of game drives, we return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast we will head out for game viewing in the northern most part of park Kidepo valley which is rarely visited by many, however, its blessed with massive stunning scenery and is a hotspot for birders searching for Ostrich, secretary bird among others that have been recorded here several times. The Kanangorok Hot Springs are another beauty to watch out for not forgetting the dry seasonal rivers. After lunch, we will drive just outside the park to visit the Lolukolo village/community where we will learn more about the Karamajong’s rich culture and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, we will drive south words through the remote areas and communities of Northern Uganda and proceed to Murchison falls national park with an evening game drive in search for the big game of this park.

After breakfast we will head out for the game drive in search of the big game in this famous savanna parks that hosts 70 mammal species and over 430 bird species that have been recorded here. Wildife to look out for; waterbacks, Oribi, giraffes, Abyssinian ground hornbill, Jackson’s hartebeest, Afternoon we will take on waterfall boat cruise that takes us to the bottom of the falls with also to see including a number of wildlife animals that come to drink and quench their thirst, buffaloes, Waterbacks, baboons, the massive hippos, Nile crocodile with many bird species including the pied kingfisher, Giant kingfisher, African darter, rock pratincole, African fish eagle among others. Today before we take our 5/6 hours drive to the primate capital of the world, we will have a short game drive as we head out of the park. The journey is rather scenic than long, time allowing lunch en routes in Hoima.

Chimpanzee tracking is among the top five activities that one must do while taking on a safari in Uganda. Today will we will have a short drive to the Kanyanchu briefing Centre where we will join other for a short briefing about the activity. Kibale National Forest has one of the highest diversity and concentration of primates in Africa and has large number of endangered chimpanzees, as well as the red colobus monkey and the rare L'Hoest's monkey. After the chimpoanzees have been located, we will have one full hour learning and observing them as tey go on with their daily lives. This one hour is really fascinating and memorable since these are ages are our close relatives with 98% DNA. In the afternoon, we will Bigodi Community for our swamp/wetland walk which is a haven for mammals such as sitatungas, bushbucks, otters with over 200 bird species. Local and knowledgeable guides will take you on an interpretive tour as they escort you through the lush vegetation. This is the perfect opportunity to view the wildlife from the forest pathways, boardwalks and atop a tree house tucked high in the canopy. Dinner and overnight at Lodge

After a leisurely breakfast, we will drive to the medley of wonders “Queen Elizabeth National Park” where we will have a hot lunch and then late proceed to Mweya peninsula for our afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel. The Kazinga Channel is an oasis for many of the fascinating species that inhabit the park, and taking a boat tour along it gives visitors the chance to cruise just meters from hundreds of enormous hippos and buffalos while elephants linger on the shoreline. A number of bird species can be sighted while on this two-hour boat cruise as your boat captions shares more information about the park and its wildlife.

After breakfast, we will have one more chance to do a game drive in the lash plains, explosion crater lakes and wildlife of Kasenyi sector before we transfer to the southern Ishasha sector of the park. In the evening we will take on a game drive in Ishasha sector famous for the tree climbing lions, topi the fastest antelope, leopards, massive herds huge elephants, birds among others. Dinner and overnight in the park.

Today we will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest a world heritage site through the amazing plains of Ishasha said to be one of the two places on the planet to host tree climbing lions. It is a very breathtaking sight to see these lions resting up high on one of the branches of the huge fig trees lazily resting away as the day goes by. The Ishasha is certainly one of the very memorable destinations within Uganda. After the game drive we will proceed to Buhoma sector of Bwindi national park. Dinner and overnight at the edge of the forest.

Today you have the golden chance to trek mountain gorillas, after your early breakfast, you will have short drive to the UWA briefing Centre where you will be taken through the dos and don’ts while tracking gorillas. The trekking can or may take 2 hours or even a whole day since the nature of the trek is unpredictable. We recommend you to carry enough drinking water, picnic lunch, rain gear since there is a possibility of rain pouring anytime, hiking shoes and gloves. After briefing, you will be assigned to family which will trek in a group of eight pax. You will be led by the armed ranger guides off the forest to search for the gorillas. After gorillas have been located, you will have one full hour viewing them as they go on with their daily lives at a distance of 7-10 meters. You will be allowed to use your camera and phones but in silence and to remove the flash so that you can photograph and capture this moment of lifetime. After the one hour your will trek back the vehicle and return to lodge with a lot of memories and storis to take back home. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

This morning we will transfer to lake Bunyonyi (literally meaning the place of many birds) where we will take a motorized canoe boat to one of the islands where we will learn more about the kigezi people and their culture.

After a photographic morning with the stunning scenery of the Bunyonyi Islands, we will drive to lake Mburo through enchanting highlands of kigezi. The afternoon, we will take on a two/three-hour boat cruise where we will hope to see variety of animals that come to quench thirst from banks of the lake. Watch out for hippos, massive Nile Crocodiles, Buffaloes, waterbucks, lots of birds such as African Fish Eagle (the master of stealth), the elusive African finfoot which is among the top ten must see birds of Uganda (here you have better chances of sighting it than any other place) among others. After your boat cruise, have a short game drive as you head to lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After an early breakfast, you head out for a morning game drive in search of wildlife including leopards, Hyenas, zebras, waterbucks, topis, impalas, warthogs, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos returning to the lake among others.
After your morning game drive, return to lodge, check out and head back to Kampala. In case you are interested in souvenir shopping, there are several local craft shops where you can buy local handmade items for your home as you support the host communities. Proceed to the drop off destination or point. (In case on the first day you did not stop for the equator experience, now would be the time before you proceed to Kampala.
